Role Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer in Network and Security Operations to join our dynamic FinTech team. This pivotal role ensures the operational integrity, efficiency, and security of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of network administration, cybersecurity operations and compliance within financial technology environments. The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain robust, scalable and secure infrastructure services aligned with regulatory requirements and business continuity needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure including servers, databases, firewalls and network appliances.
• Oversee and govern SOC partner operations to ensure seamless integration, monitoring and effectiveness.
• Review, validate and approve firewall communication matrices to control secure data traffic.
• Analyze vulnerability assessments and penetration test results; lead remediation planning and execution.
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize infrastructure performance, availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network‑related issues efficiently and promptly.
• Administer IP planning and allocation to maximize resource utilization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, IP schemes and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and security teams to enforce and enhance cybersecurity practices.
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools and technologies relevant to the FinTech sector.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 58 years of hands‑on experience in network and security operations.
• Prior experience in FinTech or banking industry environments is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Proficiency in security monitoring platforms (e.g. QRadar, Splunk) and SIEM integrations.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Certifications

Preferred certifications include CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.
