Job summary

IDC Technologies is actively seeking an experienced Network Security Lead to join our premier technology team on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will own enterprise perimeter security, firewall administration, VPN tunnels, SD-WAN deployments, and threat mitigation controls, leveraging Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point to ensure robust threat protection.

The role requires 8+ years in network engineering and cybersecurity, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related technical discipline (from the HTML).
• 8+ years of progressive professional experience in network engineering, security administration, and perimeter defense.
• Hands-on operational expertise in Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewall platforms.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPN protocols, NAC, SD-WAN, and Secure Web Gateways.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and DNS security understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network security architectures and perimeter defenses.
• Administer multi-vendor next-generation firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Implement and monitor IDS/IPS and secure web gateway solutions.
• Manage complex site-to-site VPN tunnels, remote access, and SD-WAN architectures.
• Deploy NAC policies for endpoint compliance and network segmentation.
• Monitor real-time network traffic, logs, and bandwidth for anomalies and breaches.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, SOC analysts, and IT infrastructure during incidents.
• Document network security topology, firewall rule audits, and incident runbooks.
