A leading company specializing in IT solutions in Dubai seeks a talented Network Engineer. The role involves planning and implementing network upgrades while managing complex network architectures and ensuring high availability. Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in firewall configuration, load balancing, and disaster recovery planning, eager to tackle challenging environments.
Responsibilities (Includes All Tasks):
• Planning, scheduling, and implementing network upgrades, implementations, and migrations for clients in a timely manner, during times that will have the least impact on users of the affected systems.
• Developing and implementing the architecture and design of networks and network diagrams.
• Managing three-tier network architecture, including core switches, distribution switches, access switches, leased lines, and MPLS links with high availability.
• Configuring Alto Firewall in active and passive modes, managing security policies, QoS, NAT, sub-interfaces, aggregated interfaces, virtual routers, and zones.
• Managing perimeter firewalls with master/slave configuration, VDOM, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, vendor-specific IP subnets, user integration with AD via LDAP, NAT configuration, and traffic shaping.
• Managing Cisco Wireless Controllers 9800 in Active/Standby mode, with all SSIDs integrated with ISE for 802.1X and vendor-specific access.
• Configuring and managing DNS and DHCP pools.
• Configuring and managing IPS.
• Designing and managing F5 BIG-IP LTM Load Balancer, including creating VIPs, pools, persistence profiles, SSL profiles, SSL offloading, and iRules, aiming for high availability and network failover.
• Configuring and managing F5 GTM devices for DNS solutions, ensuring synchronization between data centers and disaster recovery sites.
• Creating and managing access policies in F5 APM for VPN traffic.
• Maintaining disaster recovery plans for IT operations and participating in organizational and customer-level disaster recovery testing.
