Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Network Security Administrator to design, deploy, and manage secure network infrastructure. You will lead projects, implement security protocols, and collaborate with IT teams to protect data integrity and availability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in network security, CCNA/CCNP preferred, and strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, encryption tech, and IAM/RBAC concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253.
• Understanding of data classification and encryption tech (IPsec, SSL, PKI).
• Demonstrated least privilege access concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage network devices (routers, switches, NAC, firewall, WAP).
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols.
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents promptly.
• Monitor performance using network management tools.
• Maintain asset inventories and documentation.
• Lead network-related projects from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with IT support and other departments; enforce IT policies.
• Liaise with vendors for device purchases and support.
