Job summary

Halian in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Network Engineer to implement, support, and maintain secure connectivity for our platform and systems. You will work with infrastructure, security, cloud and engineering teams to ensure network services are stable and well-monitored.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering, advanced network certifications, and 5–7 years of experience, with UAE National status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Design, implement, maintain and optimize network infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Manage configurations, capacity planning, performance optimization, and change management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Assess emerging networking technologies to enhance security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Establish monitoring processes and maintain operational documentation.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, outages, and root cause analysis.
