Job summary

TalentOne in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise security infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.

You will lead deployments, troubleshoot incidents, document architectures, and collaborate with IT teams. A strong background in Cisco/Huawei environments and security best practices is required, with emphasis on high availability and secure data transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot network devices (switches/routers/firewalls).
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Ensure firewall configuration and access controls for security.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support applications.
• Create network documentation and SOPs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for outages.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Deploy and manage Cisco ISE, SDA, and Catalyst Center.
• Support NAC, SD-WAN, and secure remote access.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and customers.
• Lead implementation, migration, and UAT activities.
• Support data governance and secure data transfer initiatives.
