Job summary

M42 Ltd. is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer/Architect to design, implement and optimize enterprise networks across on‑prem and cloud environments in Abu Dhabi.

You will lead wireless design (Aruba, Cisco), deploy next‑gen firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto), and drive Zero Trust, DNS, WAFs, and cloud connectivity initiatives. You will act as a technical leader, mentor engineers, and coordinate across security, cloud, and application teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Expert in Aruba wireless ecosystem and large-scale deployments.
• Deep Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto security expertise.
• Experience with F5 load balancers and WAFs.
• Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation expertise.
• End-to-end Azure networking and ExpressRoute experience.
• Zscaler ZIA and ZPA deployments knowledge.
• Automation with Python and Ansible for network ops.
• Leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure network solutions across campus, branch, and cloud environments.
• Lead enterprise wireless design and operations using Aruba and Cisco platforms.
• Implement security solutions including next-generation firewalls, Zero Trust, DNS, WAFs, load balancers, and proxy solutions.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-prem and Azure.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point, leading root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Define network standards, documentation, and governance.
• Automate network operations using Python, APIs, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams, mentor junior engineers.
• Architect and support Azure networking including VNets, subnets, peering, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
