Job summary

Halian in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Network Engineer responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining a reliable and secure network for our platform and systems. You will work with infrastructure, security, cloud and engineering teams to keep network services stable, monitored and aligned with operation requirements.

This role supports confidential, integral and available financial technology. UAE National candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Advanced certifications in network engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• UAE National
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate enterprise network infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver network solutions.
• Manage configurations, capacity planning, performance optimization, and maintenance with change control.
• Participate in monitoring, documentation, and proactive network management.
• Investigate incidents, diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Assess emerging networking technologies to improve security and reliability.
• Ensure network services meet confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements.
