Job summary

Sherman Global is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure across Cisco, Aruba, HP, and H3C technologies in the UAE. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and performance for wired and wireless environments.

You will deploy, administer, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and WLAN solutions, manage WLCs, and implement NAC with ClearPass.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years enterprise network engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience.
Proven Aruba networking solutions, wireless infra, and WLC management.
Hands-on Aruba ClearPass/Policy Manager experience.
Experience with HP and H3C network devices.
Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLAN technologies.
Experience with NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, ACLs, and VPNs.
Experience with monitoring solutions like SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
Administer Cisco, Aruba, HP, and H3C switches, routers, and networking platforms.
Configure and manage Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and enterprise wireless networks.
Implement and maintain Aruba ClearPass/Policy Manager for NAC.
Configure and support network security technologies including firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, 802.1X, and RADIUS authentication.
Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools.
Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network incidents and service requests.
Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and security issues across multi-vendor environments.
Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, failover testing, and redundancy implementation.
Conduct network health assessments, audits, and vulnerability reviews.
Develop and maintain network documentation, SOPs, topology diagrams, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams.
Coordinate with technology vendors for escalations, support, and maintenance activities.
