Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC is seeking a senior governance and risk lead for Service Operations in Dubai. You will oversee evaluation, onboarding, risk management, and process optimization across telecom networks, coordinating with security teams and vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10–15 years in telecommunications, ITIL, and ISO/TL9000 frameworks, with a focus on governance, cost control, and multi‑cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer, electrical, network engineering or IT (any telecom equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of evaluation and onboarding activities of all new network according to the Yearly Plan.
• Participate in RFP process, design, development and lab testing for new network evaluation.
• Keep Network Operations up to date with regular progress reports.
• Involve in negotiations with key partners when needed.
• Define and maintain processes for evaluation/onboarding of new network to minimize outages and postboarding costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance adherence.
• Define service standards/SLA for the unit in line with objectives.
• Coordinate security risk assessments and risk management reviews for Service Operations.
• Domain Risk Advisor for Service Operations in coordination with security teams.
• Evaluate VA Scan reports and coordinate with planning to mitigate vulnerabilities in telecom/IT systems.
• Responsible for SW upgrade and patching compliance for network nodes and systems.
• Service Operations SPOC for internal control observations from audits.
• Support audits and projects to improve people, processes, and systems.
