Job summary

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications aligned with the university's digital transformation roadmap.

The role focuses on .NET-based development for Student Information Systems (Ellucian Banner) with ERP integrations, CRM platforms, and omni-channel communication tools. You will work within Dubai Government and HBMSU governance standards to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience with .NET/C#/ASP.NET/.NET Core is mandatory.
• AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
• Relevant enterprise or integration certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate into secure, scalable .NET-based solutions.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and API-based architectures.
• Implement and support integrations with SIS (Ellucian Banner or equivalent).
• Develop and maintain integrations with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and/or ServiceNow.
• Support integration with contact center and communication platforms (Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Teams, Twilio).
• Design and consume REST and SOAP web services, including secure SSO and identity integrations.
• Assist with enterprise integrations with HR, Finance, Procurement systems.
• Adopt cloud-native services using AWS or Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide second-level technical support for incidents and requests.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and Dubai regulations.
