Job description

For our subsidiary BAUER International FZE based in Abu Dhabi, we are looking for a committed and qualified Junior Tender Engineer (m / f / x).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender submittals in coordination with Tender Manager and other relevant departments.
• Prepare post tender correspondences in coordination with Tender Manager and Senior Management.
• Carry out necessary tasks in Tender Workflow (TWF) system. Initiate creation of MS Teams for the tenders. All documents related to the tender to be saved in the relevant MS Teams.
• Review the design inputs and carry out and check quantity calculations.
• Carry out pre-tender site-visit or meetings and prepare reports on the same.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or similar studies.
• First professional experience in the construction industry including tendering, projecting and calculation, preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in UAE.
• Competent in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experienced in using Adobe Photoshop, MS Project or similar programs is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal.
