Job summary

KBR Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer, Automation for the Abu Dhabi site on a PMC project.

You will review and coordinate process automation system activities, develop specifications, and support real-time information management and laboratory information systems across the asset lifecycle. The role requires extensive experience in automation design and commissioning within large industrial settings, with emphasis on oil and gas projects and international standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering or equivalent.
15 years’ experience in design, installation, commissioning, operations continuing maintenance, testing and CS validation relating to automation systems within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze and coordinate activities of process automation systems installations to ensure efficient systems.
Audit the performance of systems and identify opportunities for process performance improvements to meet standards.
Develop and update technical specification documents and conduct economic feasibility studies for applications.
Develop system functional specifications, design & as-built docs, user manuals and training materials for modifications.
Provide technical & engineering expertise in Real-time Process Information Management and Laboratory Information management systems.
