Handle Consulting is a prominent player, specializing in providing innovative financial solutions and strategic advisory services. As we expand our portfolio of mergers and acquisitions, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven M&A Senior Analyst to join our talented team.

Role Overview:

As a Senior M&A, you will play a vital role in supporting our mergers and acquisitions strategy by conducting in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence. We are also requesting experience and hands-on mentality for restructuring and interim management projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of the M&A process, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential acquisition targets, using methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Assess the financial performance and risk factors of target companies to inform decision-making.
  • Market Research: Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition opportunities. Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights and competitive positioning.
  • Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to gather and analyze information pertaining to target companies. Evaluate operational, financial, and regulatory aspects during the due diligence phase.
  • Transaction Support: Prepare high-quality presentation materials, investment memoranda, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients. Assist in negotiations and deal structuring, providing financial insights to support the process.
  • Post-Merger Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integration plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Monitor the performance of acquired companies and provide regular reports on integration progress.
  • Interims Management: Strong leadership and emphatic management skills for difficult business tasks and overtaking, implementing and turnaround projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related field.
  • Provable track record of at least 40 M&A transactions.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
