Job summary

IRTH Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for MEP site supervision on a major hospitality project in Dubai. The role focuses on supervising and coordinating all mechanical systems to meet Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence standards, with emphasis on central domestic hot water systems and authority approvals.

The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality project background, experience managing multiple subcontractors, and a solid understanding of local regulations and testing &

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant UAE MEP supervision experience.
• At least 2 hospitality projects involving central domestic hot water systems.
• Experience with consultancy managing multiple MEP subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and inspection protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site mechanical works in line with DM and DCD requirements.
• Coordinate with Electrical, ELV, Architectural, Interior Design and Structural teams to ensure clash-free execution.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, ITPs, and commissioning procedures.
• Attend DM and DCD inspections and address comments to ensure timely approvals.
• Witness testing, commissioning, flushing, and functionality checks of mechanical systems.
