Job summary

JD.COM is seeking a seasoned MEP Site Engineer to lead on-site installation works for Riyadh-based projects while coordinating with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to SBC standards.

You will review shop drawings, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure documentation, testing, and handover deliverables are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5–7 years of MEP installation experience, with 3–5 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) accreditation required.
• Experience managing MEP works on industrial, logistics, or large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of SBC, Civil Defense, and local authority approvals.
• Hands-on experience with multi-subcontractor MEP management.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site MEP installation activities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV).
• Coordinate MEP with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure interfaces align.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and clarifications with consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractors and site labor for productivity, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with Saudi Civil Defense and authorities.
• Support procurement by reviewing specifications and material submittals.
• Maintain interface risk register and lead coordination workshops.
