Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) seeks a senior MEP engineer to lead design, engineering, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of pool, spa and water feature systems in Dubai. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget and compliance with international aquatic standards and local authorities.

Responsibilities cover hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, water treatment, HVAC coordination for indoor pools, electrical safety, PLC/BMS integration, and producing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering experience, including at least 5 years on swimming pool, spa or aquatics projects.
• Proven track record delivering commercial, hospitality or public aquatic facilities from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and finalise MEP designs for pools and water features, including filtration, circulation and pipework layouts.
• Carry out pool hydraulic calculations: turnover rates, flow rates, pump head and pipe sizing.
• Coordinate MEP works with other trades and manage site execution from mobilisation through handover.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, schedules and BOQs.
• Lead, mentor and develop MEP engineers and draughtsmen.
