Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the fully integrated construction powerhouse behind Azizi Developments in Dubai, seeks a Technical Engineer for swimming pool and water feature design coordination and technical support across major projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8 years of experience, with strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, water treatment, and MEP coordination. You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants, and ensure adherence to UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in swimming pool and water feature design and execution.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, filtration and water treatment.
• Solid understanding of MEP coordination and automation systems.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, submittals and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications and contract documents related to swimming pool and water feature works.
• Prepare and review hydraulic calculations, equipment selection and system layouts.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, material approvals and shop drawings.
• Select suitable equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, UV systems, dosing systems, valves, piping and underwater lighting.
• Prepare electrical load schedules for pool and water feature systems.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Ensure compliance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and filtration systems with project specifications and UAE/ international standards.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning stages.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment specifications and procurement support.
