Senior MEP Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Turner & Townsend is one of the leading consultancy providers to the aviation sector. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Commercial with MEP experience to join an airport terminal project in Abu Dhabi.

The MEP Commercial resource will work closely with the MEP Commercial Leader (MEPCL) and be able to perform in a stand-alone capacity. The role will involve:

1. Working closely with both the VP and the Commercial Leader in evaluating MEP options on behalf of the client.
2. Supporting the implementation of any appropriate commercial strategies.
3. Close liaison with the client MEP team and contractors commercial team.
4. Preparation of commercial strategies.
5. Administering commercial impacts of change.
6. Providing quantitative assessment of change.
7. Providing commercial advice to Clients MEP leadership team.
8. Supporting negotiations with Contractor on variations.

Key qualifications and skills include:

1. Technical influence on MEP.
2. Breadth of MEP construction knowledge across the built environment.
3. QS background.
4. Post Contract Cost Management Skills (essential).
5. Related degree, preferably in Surveying.
6. Airport Terminal Facility Experience.
7. MEP experience (essential).
8. Understanding of Key Cost Drivers.
9. Middle East experience (beneficial).
