Job summary

Blue Diamond General Trading LLC seeks an experienced MEP BIM Engineer to lead BIM modelling efforts in Dubai. The role demands high proficiency in Autodesk Revit, thorough drafting, and disciplined model development across multiple disciplines.

The candidate will develop accurate 3D models and drawing packages, coordinate with architects and engineers, and support delivery through design to construction documentation. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional BIM modelling, drafting and coordination.
• Strong technical BIM production capability and disciplined model development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MEP Revit models to a high technical standard.
• Produce 2D drawings, detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Ensure models and drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with design intent and standards.
• Create, modify, and manage parametric Revit families, components, templates, and libraries.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination by identifying and resolving modelling inconsistencies and documentation issues.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to integrate design updates into the model in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper model structure, naming conventions, view templates, worksets, and shared coordinates.
• Review drawings and models for completeness, accuracy, constructability, and consistency before issue.
• Assist in the preparation of BIM deliverables for design, tender, authority submission, and construction stages.
• Participate in model coordination meetings and incorporate actions into updated outputs.
• Ensure BIM content is practical, buildable and suitable for project use.
• Support extraction of schedules, quantities and model-based information.
