Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their insurance needs, and provide expert advice on risk management and loss prevention strategies.
  • Negotiation & Placement: Negotiate with various insurance carriers to secure the most suitable coverage, rates, and policy terms for clients.
  • Risk Assessment & Analysis: Analyze client businesses to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions and risk management programs.
  • Claims Management: Oversee and guide the handling of insurance claims, ensuring timely and favorable resolutions for clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, new insurance products, regulations, and market changes to provide informed advice.
  • Business Development: Acquire new clients and accounts, driving revenue growth for the brokerage.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior brokers and other team members.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to all relevant insurance laws and regulations, and prepare reports for management on coverage status and risk exposures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Target annual gross revenue: $500,001 to $750,000.
  • Must complete the CII Certificate qualification.
  • Commission earning threshold $175,000-$210,000
  • Commission rate after passing threshold 22.5%
  • Salary guide: AED 20,000–30,000 per month
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management.
  • Experience: Significant experience (7–10+ years) in the insurance industry, with proven experience in managing clients, policies, and risk.
  • Must work towards CII Level 4
