Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Manager Mechanical in the United Arab Emirates to lead a team of engineers and designers across the full project life cycle. The role involves reviewing ITTs, defining scope, managing risks, and coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure compliance with budget and schedule.

The position requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with extensive EPC/oil & gas experience, including ADNOC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 23+ years of work experience, preferably in EPC oil & gas.
• Technical expert in minimum 3 static equipment packages (TEG, Desalter, Fired Heater, Flare, Boilers).
• Minimum 4–5 years ADNOC project experience in Mechanical Static discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers across the full project life cycle.
• Review ITT, define scope and technical requirements; develop risk registers.
• Coordinate with client and vendor reps; ensure schedule and budgets.
• Prepare manpower plans and optimize resources.
• Lead concept to detailed engineering transition.
