Job summary

Petrofac UAE seeks a Principal Engineer Mechanical (Static) to lead detailed design for EPC projects in the oil and gas sector. You will ensure compliance with tender specs, budgets and schedules.

Key tasks include reviewing ITB documents, preparing technical bids, coordinating with procurement, drafting MDS and PFDs, and guiding interfaces across disciplines. ADNOC experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with ≥15 years in EPC oil and gas.
• Experience developing equipment specifications and mechanical datasheets.
• ADNOC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed engineering for projects within budget, time, and specs.
• Review ITB documents, issue inquiries, and evaluate bids.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning and other disciplines.
• Develop plot plans and issue MDS/IDCs for inter-discipline checks.
• Support start-up, commissioning and design change management.
