Job summary

Advario, a leading tank storage and infrastructure solutions provider, seeks a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of oil & gas storage systems. You will engineer, plan, supervise execution, and document maintenance across pumps, valves, piping, and safety systems, driving asset reliability and technical excellence.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, leading maintenance planning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance engineering within oil & gas or similar process industries.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, valves, piping and rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO standards.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and terminal infrastructure.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities involving pumps, seals, valves, piping, loading arms, firefighting systems, and other equipment.
• Review maintenance work orders, technical scopes, work instructions, spare parts requirements, manpower, tools, and execution methodologies.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planning and Operations to establish maintenance priorities, schedules, availability, and resources.
• Ensure maintenance activities are executed per approved specifications, drawings, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Review maintenance findings, inspection results, testing, and reinstatement requirements before returning equipment to service.
• Investigate equipment failures, root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support development and optimization of preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Review maintenance history and trends to identify reliability improvements.
• Coordinate inspections, condition monitoring, and integrity assessments with specialists.
• Develop, review, and improve mechanical maintenance procedures, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Ensure maintenance records and documentation are accurate and traceable.
• Support MoC processes, risk assessments, and engineering reviews.
