Job summary

Al Ain Consulting Engineers LLC seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the United Arab Emirates to lead supervision of M.E.P works across HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire fighting systems. The candidate will review submittals, method statements and W/As built documentation, and ensure compliance with tender documents and local authorities.

The role requires a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with at least 12 years of construction supervision experience in UAE consultancy or site supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant construction supervision experience.
• UAE consultancy/site supervision experience is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and HAP is required.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval procedures.

Responsibilities

• Study, review and approve materials submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and HAP calculations for all mechanical services.
• Approve, revise or reject HVAC, plumbing works by contractors per international standards and local regs.
• Follow up M.E.P payments based on contractor progress.
• Provide daily supervision of sub-contractors for M.E.P works installation and quality.
