Job Summary

Performs planning, system design, implementation, maintenance, and support. Interacts effectively with internal and external teams, including design engineering, construction management, site engineering, regional operations, onsite support vendors, and consultants on projects, policies, and procedures. Assists in planning daily operations and strategic delivery of construction projects or data center operations.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Assists in managing projects or other design and engineering initiatives.
2. System Operation and Work Practices (incl Capacity Planning): Provides guidance on complex maintenance and repairs, develops SOWs for routine projects, and applies safe working practices at an expert level. Works with capacity and site engineering teams to identify power and cooling limitations and propose modifications. Assists in airflow, cooling, sustainability, and energy efficiency projects.
3. Training: Provides feedback on training programs, expands knowledge through systems and vendor training, and trains team members on policy and procedure changes.
4. Contract Administration: Assists in executing contract procedures, including review and monitoring of contracts, change orders, and forecasts.
5. Leadership and Communications (incl Vendor Mgmt): Assists in directing project teams and external vendors, and communicates through detailed reports. Conducts energy review meetings with stakeholders.
6. Policy & Procedure Development and Adherence: Provides feedback on policies and procedures.
7. Problem Solving: Identifies issues, differentiates key elements, and applies correct rectifications.
8. Technical Expertise: Utilizes expert knowledge to diagnose and repair advanced technical issues.
