Job description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably with Saudi Aramco projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in the design, analysis, and management of static and rotary equipment & packages. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute mechanical engineering activities related to static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping components, ensuring design integrity and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Oversee rotary equipment and package design, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated systems, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, datasheets, vendor drawings, and engineering calculations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to support project execution and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
  • Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and client coordination to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project-specific requirements where applicable.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to mechanical systems.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university.
  • Proven track record of working on Saudi Aramco projects is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of static equipment design codes and rotary equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and applications relevant to mechanical design and analysis.
