Job summary

Petrofac in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Construction Engineer – Mechanical to lead site construction activities across Mechanical / HVAC, Piping, Painting, Insulation, Refractory and Fireproofing. You will supervise field personnel and subcontractors to deliver safely, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include 90-day look-ahead planning, IFC document reviews, coordination with Engineering & PMT, and ensuring quality control and proper handover. UAE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Extensive experience in Mechanical/HVAC and Piping on industrial sites.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality standards and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor and supervise site construction activities for Mechanical / HVAC, Piping, Painting, Insulation, Refractory and Fireproofing.
• Develop 90-day look-ahead schedules and ensure on-time, within budget and quality.
• Review IFC documents, methods, and change requests with the subs.
• Coordinate with Engineering & PMT to ensure constraints-free activities.
• Monitor progress, report daily, and manage punch lists and turnover.
