Job summary

Allocation Assist in Dubai seeks an experienced Maternal–Fetal Medicine specialist to lead high‑risk pregnancy care, fetal imaging, and prenatal diagnostics in a multidisciplinary setting. You will ensure evidence‑based, patient‑centered care aligned with international MFM standards.

You will collaborate with neonatology, genetics, radiology and anesthesia to optimize outcomes, supervise residents and sonographers, engage in research, and maintain international standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Subspecialty fellowship in Maternal–Fetal Medicine (MFM).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑fellowship experience in MFM.
• Expertise in advanced fetal imaging and high‑risk pregnancy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of high‑risk pregnancies with maternal medical complications, fetal anomalies, multiples, and preterm birth risk.
• Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging: anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler, growth assessments.
• Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS as required.
• Provide expert counselling to families regarding fetal conditions and genetic risks.
• Collaborate with neonatology, genetics, radiology, anesthesia, and other specialties to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in fetal therapy planning and coordinate referrals for intrauterine interventions.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and follow‑up of MFM cases.
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and sonographers in MFM.
• Participate in on‑call duties per departmental requirements.
• Engage in research, audits, and CPD to maintain international standards.
