Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on high-risk pregnancy management, advanced fetal imaging, and prenatal diagnostics within a tertiary obstetric service.

The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide family counselling, participate in clinical governance, and supervise residents and sonographers.

Qualifications

• Medical degree, MBBS, MD, or equivalent.
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Subspecialty certification or fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or Fetal Medicine from a recognized international institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and management of high-risk pregnancies involving maternal medical complications, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, and risk of preterm birth.
• Perform and interpret detailed fetal anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, and fetal growth assessments.
• Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal sampling when clinically required.
• Provide expert counselling to patients and families regarding fetal conditions, genetic risks, diagnostic findings, and management options.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with neonatology, genetics, radiology, anesthesia, and other relevant specialties.
