Allocation Assist seeks a Consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine to join a leading UAE healthcare provider in Al Ain. The role focuses on high-risk pregnancies, fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and advanced obstetric care, working within multidisciplinary teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will lead complex ultrasound and diagnostic procedures, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide comprehensive care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or Subspecialty Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive care for women with high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal medical conditions.
• Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including fetal anomaly scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies.
• Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS, where applicable.
• Diagnose and manage fetal abnormalities, multiple pregnancies, fetal growth restriction, preeclampsia, and other maternal-fetal complications.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care with Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neonatology, Genetics, Anesthesiology, and other specialties.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum consultations for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Counsel patients and their families on prenatal screening, diagnosis, treatment options, and pregnancy management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support junior medical staff, residents, and fellows, where applicable.
