Job summary
Worley is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead all materials engineering activities across FEED, EPC and detailed engineering. You will develop material selection strategies for process facilities, pipelines, static equipment and offshore structures, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation.
Role requires extensive corrosion control expertise, coatings, metallurgy, and adherence to ADNOC standards and international codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries with strong materials experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead materials engineering activities across FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering.
- Develop and implement materials selection strategies for facilities, pipelines, piping systems, and offshore structures.
- Prepare and review material selection reports, corrosion studies, specifications, and requisitions.
- Perform materials selection and corrosion assessments considering process conditions and design life.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes (NACE, ASME, ASTM, API, ISO).
- Provide expertise in corrosion, coatings, cathodic protection, metallurgy and non-metallic materials.
