McDermott International, Ltd. invites applications for a Senior Materials & Coatings Engineer to improve the discipline across projects and act as a resource for colleagues.

You will solve complex problems using metallurgical knowledge and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. The role requires a degree in engineering and 8–15 years of oil and gas experience with major contractors or consultancies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 8–15 years of oil and gas experience with major contractor or consultant.
• Working knowledge of design techniques, standards, codes and guidelines.
• English proficiency (oral and written).
• Flexible, cost-conscious, and able to hand over to other departments when needed.

Mansioni

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies and detailed analyses per design basis and standards.
• Prepare material design analyses, reports and procedures.
• Coordinate with disciplines to develop RBI studies and risk reviews.
• Review vendor submittals for compliance with project specs.
• Guide less experienced engineers on MDR and metallurgy procedures.
• Assist in proposals, bid reviews, and change notifications.
