Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd invites applications for a Senior Materials & Coatings Engineer. You will apply best practices to improve the Materials & Coatings discipline, mentor colleagues, and solve complex problems across projects and services.

You will lead material design analyses, coordinate RBI studies, review vendor submittals, and interface with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
• 8–15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
• Proven knowledge of design techniques, standards, codes and guidelines.
• English language proficiency (oral and written).
• HSE, TQM and cost-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies and detailed analyses per design basis and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed material design analyses, reports and procedures.
• Coordinate RBI studies and vendor document reviews; support bids and change management.
• Guide less experienced engineers and ensure alignment with McDermott procedures, standards, and schedules.
• Interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders to ensure clash-free, compliant designs.
