Qualifications

• Trade certificate or higher in mechanical/automobile engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant automotive workshop experience.
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle faults and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and technical vehicle faults and determine repair solutions.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities.
• Provide expert guidance on difficult or recurring vehicle concerns.
• Help ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time to reduce repeat repairs.
• Communicate findings and repair requirements clearly to stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate with workshop teams to support timely completion of repairs.
• Recommend improvements to workshop processes, tools, and equipment.
• Contribute to technician productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
• Identify training needs and provide technical guidance.
