Job summary

ADNOC Abu Dhabi UAE is seeking a Marine Operations Engineer – Terminal and Offshore to supervise offshore terminal activities, tanker movements, and pilotage. The role ensures safe hydrocarbon transfer, navigational safety, and reliable marine infrastructure while coordinating contractors, vessel operators, and terminal personnel in line with international standards and UAE regulations.

The position requires strong knowledge of IMO, ISGOTT, OCIMF, ISPS Code compliance, and experience in bulk

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
Strong practical understanding of offshore terminal operations and marine safety.
Experience supervising tanker berthing, unloading, or crude transfer within a major marine terminal environment.
Familiarity with IMO, ISGOTT, OCIMF, and UAE maritime regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise marine contractor activities involving pilotage, mooring, loading operations, and offshore terminals.
Monitor contractor compliance with safety procedures and contractual requirements.
Coordinate vessel movements, berthing, unberthing, and mooring within concession areas.
Oversee transportation of personnel and equipment by marine vessels.
Coordinate dredging, marine maintenance, and infrastructure activities affecting offshore facilities.
Direct mooring location assignment and provide mooring support during vessel arrivals and departures.
Review tanker schedules, arrivals, nominations, berth availability, and loading rates.
