Job summary

AE COM is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our Dubai team to inspect and monitor marine civil works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in civil construction inspection, with 3–5 years on marine infrastructure projects, and familiarity with UAE regulations. On-site work at Dubai locations and coordination with engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of marine construction methods and inspection procedures.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in civil construction inspection.
• Minimum 3–5 years on marine infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect marine civil works including quay walls, jetties and breakwaters.
• Monitor piling, dredging, reclamation, rock placement and concrete works.
• Verify construction activities against approved method statements and drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing of materials such as concrete and reinforcement.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and maintain inspection records.
