Al-Futtaim Automotive – FAMCO is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to provide professional troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and repair support for marine power generators. The role emphasizes first-time-right repairs and delivering high-quality customer service.

Based in Dubai, duties include work across workshop and field environments, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting emergency 24/7 service when required.

Qualifications

• Technical education or apprenticeship in a relevant technical field.
• Diploma in Technician, Generator, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience with power generators.
• Proven experience in independent servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Valid driving license.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Provide field and workshop support to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose technical problems using manuals, diagrams, and checklists.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
