A leading company in the payments industry is seeking a Product Manager in Dubai to lead the commercialization of new products and solutions. This role requires strategic guidance, oversight of product management, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to enhance the customer experience. A qualified candidate will have over 15 years of relevant experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate a multicultural environment effectively.
Lead the commercialization and launch of new products and solutions, recommending pricing, providing sales tools, and training the sales team to ensure successful sales in partnership with the acquisitions vertical.
Monitor product performance post-roll-out and resolve product or sales issues to ensure continuous improvement.
Client Profit and Growth :
Lead initiatives to support client profit and growth for cards, managing revenue, credit costs, and direct / allocated costs.
Provide strategic direction and oversight for product management, audit, compliance matters, and complaints support.
Strategic Guidance and Support :
Develop and execute strategies aimed at generating revenue through products, ensuring alignment with consumer banking strategy and whole-of-bank value.
Guide and support client-facing professionals and sales teams in solving complex client needs through products, in conjunction with the acquisitions vertical.
Marketing and Campaign Execution :
Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive product growth, ensuring collaboration with the internal marketing team and acquisitions vertical.
Ensure the execution of end-to-end solutions for all client segments, resulting in superior customer experience.
Training and Knowledge Transfer :
Lead training initiatives for internal stakeholders about product offerings, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to facilitate product roll-out.
Competitive Benchmarking and Pricing :
Perform and analyze competitive benchmarking of products vis-à-vis competition and the market, and review pricing periodically.
Product Innovation and Development :
Lead the development of consumer product strategies and value propositions, aligning with customer needs and market trends.
Provide strategic guidance and support in product performance and development based on market trends and customer needs.
Execute product strategies to deliver consumer banking solutions to clients.
Oversee the execution of CVP enhancement of existing services and the development and implementation of new product solutions, with a focus on being digital-first.
Monitor and evaluate the evolving competitive and regulatory environments to ensure products remain competitive and meet clients' needs.
Develop and execute strategic and tactical roadmaps to enhance products and services offered.
Collaborate across the cards team and stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for product improvement.
Internal Collaboration :
Work in collaboration with cross-product client teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Operations, Technology, Credit, Legal, and Risk, to deliver a high level of client experience.
Execution and Implementation :
Oversee the delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization.
Ensure the successful execution of projects across different clients / businesses, identifying and mitigating risks, solving issues, and developing plans in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria.
Develop strong client relationships that endure beyond specific assignments, serving as a go-to resource for client staff and being sought out for industry and firm knowledge.
Identify new business opportunities to support clients with Mastercard solutions.
Team Work & Culture
Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project team members to address client problems.
Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management.
Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development, being a strong brand ambassador for Mastercard and Data & Services.
Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior team members.
All About You
All About Your Education & Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable (Arabic).
Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.
Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
Relevant experience of 15 years+ in Cards Product Management.
Regional experience preferred (GCC).
Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable (Arabic).
Structured approach to project management.
Analytical skills.
Willingness to travel.
