Senior Manager Telecommunication Management

Senior Manager Telecommunication Management | MAF Global Solutions | Tech

Role Summary

The Telecommunication Management Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the telecommunications infrastructure and services of the MAF organization. This includes ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of communication systems, managing vendor relationships, and developing strategies to meet current and future communication needs, along with the continuous management of cost efficiencies.

Role Profile

• Develop and implement a comprehensive telecommunications strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
• Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of telecom networks (e.g., VoIP, PBX, data networks, etc.).
• Manage relationships with external telecommunication vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing with vendors.
• Develop and manage the telecommunications department's budget.
• Lead and mentor a team of telecom professionals, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Identify potential risks related to telecom infrastructure and services.
• Ensure telecommunications operations comply with all local and international regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in telecommunications management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing telecom infrastructure, services, and vendor relationships.
• Expertise in telecommunications systems, including VoIP, data networks, cloud services, and wireless communication technologies.
• Project management certification (PMP, ITIL, or equivalent) is a plus.
