Job description

Purpose

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, will manage recruitment of senior leadership roles across Education and Corporate within Gems Education. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand talent needs, devise recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience. They will act as a partner and advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on the hiring process and best practices. Additionally, they will focus on operational excellence by continuously improving processes and metrics to deliver value-added talent acquisition services.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Develop relationships with hiring managers and act as a partner and advisor in all aspects of the hiring process.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and devise recruitment strategies to source and attract top talent.
  3. Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing communication and feedback throughout the process.
  4. Manage a portfolio of job requisitions, proactively sourcing and recruiting to fill positions promptly, cost-effectively, and efficiently.
  5. Lead the creation and implementation of recruitment initiatives to meet hiring needs and attract top talent.
  6. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, talent markets, and recruitment best practices, recommending improvements as appropriate.
  7. Track and analyze recruitment metrics regularly to ensure quality delivery of services.
  8. Apply behavioral-based interviewing techniques and other HR practices to ensure a relevant and compliant hiring process.
  9. Develop and produce reports on recruitment metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, and quality of hire.
  10. Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  11. Provide stakeholders with regular feedback on recruitment performance through reports outlining progress and outcomes.
  12. Work with HR and Finance teams to develop and manage recruitment budgets, forecast costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  13. Communicate key data insights and trends to leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and proposing strategies.
  14. Ensure data integrity by maintaining accuracy and reconciling discrepancies.
  15. Map and build pipelines for school leadership roles, developing a global sector knowledge base.
