Job description

The Senior Manager - ERP Operations (SAP) is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing the organization's SAP ERP system. This role ensures the system aligns with business objectives across corporate functions to enhance efficiency and support strategic goals. The incumbent will oversee the seamless integration of processes across these areas, driving enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the SAP ERP system to ensure reliability, security, and scalability across corporate, operational, and site-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging the ERP system across Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Lead ERP-related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure ERP processes comply with industry regulations, internal policies, and quality standards while maintaining data integrity and system accuracy.
  • Act as a bridge between business units, IT, and external vendors to align ERP functionality with organizational needs and long-term goals.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage an ERP team to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide senior leadership with actionable insights and reports based on ERP data to support strategic decision-making. Adhere to the company’s HSE policy and contribute to achieving its objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and safeguard personal and workplace health and safety.
  • Work closely with corporate leadership (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) and operational managers.
  • Collaborate with SAP vendors, consultants, and service providers to manage system upgrades, customizations, and support services.
  • Regularly update the executive team on ERP performance, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between corporate functions and operational teams for consistent ERP usage and seamless process integration.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in SAP ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) and project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP modules (e.g., SAP S / 4HANA, FICO, MM, PM, HCM, SuccessFactors, Ariba) relevant to corporate functions.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP operations and implementations within corporate settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and overseeing large-scale ERP projects across multiple business units.
  • Deep understanding of corporate processes, including finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and operations, with the ability to translate business needs into ERP functionalities.
