Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Sales Leadership: Drive AKW’s business growth by identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities across compliance, ESG, responsible sourcing, and tax advisory sectors. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets. Lead key negotiations and close deals with senior decision-makers across corporate and government sectors. Represent AKW at high-profile industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance the firm’s market positioning.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with C-suite executives, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders. Engage clients at a strategic level, identifying business challenges and positioning AKW’s services as tailored solutions. Ensure long-term client satisfaction, repeat engagements, and opportunities for cross-selling. Deliver high-quality proposals, pitches, and presentations that align with client priorities and industry trends. Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring a robust and high-quality pipeline. Provide regular performance updates, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior leadership. Leverage CRM tools and data analytics to track client engagement, conversion rates, and sales performance. Monitor competitor strategies, regulatory changes, and global market trends to anticipate opportunities and risks. Translate insights into actionable business strategies and innovative service offerings. Advise AKW leadership on emerging markets, partnership opportunities, and industry positioning. Mentor and guide junior business development executives, fostering a culture of high performance and client excellence. Collaborate with AKW’s compliance, ESG, legal, and audit teams to ensure seamless delivery of integrated client solutions. Contribute to internal knowledge-building and cross-functional initiatives that enhance AKW’s overall capabilities.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 7–10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior client-facing role. Proven track record in B2B sales of consulting / advisory services, preferably in compliance, ESG, professional services, or financial services industries. Experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders and government entities is highly desirable. Strong leadership, negotiation, and deal-closing skills. Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills. Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders across industries and geographies. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify, evaluate, and pursue growth opportunities. Knowledge of compliance, ESG, responsible sourcing, or AML / CFT regulations is an advantage. Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and business intelligence tools. Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.
