Lead and manage all procurement activities. Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchase of goods and services to support organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures
Oversee daily purchasing operations, including vendor sourcing, selection, price negotiation, and contract management
Manage the full procurement cycle for both short-term and long-term purchasing needs
Ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations
Handle tendering processes and ensure best-value acquisitions
Review and approve procurement contracts; manage renewals and vendor performance
Establish systems to prevent fraud and ensure transparency
Monitor market trends and maintain supplier relationships
Coordinate with other departments to meet their procurement requirements efficiently
Oversee inventory management procedures to ensure proper stock levels and control
Guide procurement staff and ensure their performance and development
