ROLE SUMMARY
The IT Portfolio Management Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing MAFP DBU IT strategic alignment, prioritization, and optimization of the Opco wide IT portfolio (Programs and Projects), this includes all MAFP-DBU countries central IT capabilities requirements. This role ensures that IT investments deliver maximum business value, align with strategic objectives, and are managed within budget, time, and resource constraints. The role will play a critical part in enabling informed decision-making.

ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and implement MAFTech IT portfolio management frameworks, ensuring alignment with the MAFP-DBU business and IT strategies.
• Lead the delivery and oversee the evaluation, selection, and prioritization of programs, projects, and initiatives within the portfolio.
• Act as a trusted advisor to MAFP-DBU Opco Chiefs and country business leaders, fostering collaboration between MAFTech and business units.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the IT portfolio.
• Lead efforts to improve IT portfolio management practices, leveraging industry trends and best practices.
• Define and lead MAFP-DBU portfolio governance structures, standards, and policies.
• Drive and monitor MAFP-DBU IT portfolio performance, ensuring projects and programs align with strategic objectives and deliver expected outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certifications such as PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional), MoP (Management of Portfolios), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT portfolio management, program/project management, or a related discipline, with a combination of strategic, operational, and technical expertise, coupled with a deep understanding of IT portfolio management best practices.
• Proven track record of managing diverse portfolios comprising multiple, concurrent projects and programs across various domains (e.g., infrastructure, applications, digital transformation).
• Experience in developing and implementing IT portfolio management frameworks, governance structures, and decision-making processes.
• Experience working with C-level executives and senior business leaders to facilitate decision-making and gain buy-in for IT investments.
