Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Portfolio Oversight: Drive portfolio governance to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and long-term investment strategies.
Project Controls & Performance Management: Oversee cost control, risk analysis, and scheduling functions with real-time tracking and analytics.
Business Case & Board Submissions: Lead the development of feasibility studies, business cases, and board papers to support high-impact investment decisions.
Contract Administration: Ensure robust contract management frameworks and adherence to policies and regulatory standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Enhance collaboration between Engineering, Finance, Asset Management, and Project teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use reporting and analytics tools to provide senior leadership with actionable insights.
Digital Transformation & Process Optimization: Identify and implement innovative tools and process improvements to drive efficiency and governance.
Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team while focusing on talent development and succession planning.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
Experience: 12-15 years in portfolio management, project controls, or corporate governance in utility infrastructure or energy sectors.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and organizational change.
Financial Acumen: Ability to create investment models and board-level presentations.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CAPEX lifecycle, risk frameworks, and performance metrics.
Digital Mindset: Familiarity with PMIS, BI tools, and digital transformation platforms.
Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
