A leading company in luxury tourism is seeking a Senior Manager to enhance an emirate's position as a premier destination for high-net-worth travellers. The role involves strategic market development, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight, targeting partnerships to optimize luxury experiences. Position Title
Senior Manager, Luxury
The Senior Manager, Luxury Segment is responsible for positioning a part of the UAE emerging as an international tourism and investment destination, as a truly world-class, premier luxury tourism destination. This role requires a strategic approach to luxury market development, fostering partnerships with international tour operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), luxury brands, high-end hospitality and tourism stakeholders, and representation offices to enhance an emirate’s visibility and market share. The role involves strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder engagement to maximize opportunities within the luxury segment, increase the destination’s total revenue, and elevate awareness of the overall luxury experience for high-net-worth travellers.

Budget Management & Financial Oversight
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the luxury tourism segment.
• Oversee the budget allocation and cost efficiency of luxury tourism initiatives.
• Ensure profitability of luxury events, roadshows, and exhibitions while driving total revenue improvements.
Business Development and Lead Conversion
• Generate and convert high-value leads for luxury experiences, corporate retreats, ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) travel, and bespoke tourism offerings.
• Develop incentive programs and tailored experiences for VIP travellers, private groups, and affluent clients.
• Leverage digital platforms and brand collaborations to enhance our client’s luxury brand positioning.
• Act as a consultant for luxury buyers, ensuring they receive tailored solutions for luxury travel requests.
Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Coordination
• Work closely with Marketing, Communications, and Licensing teams to align messaging, branding, and product packaging.
• Support Marketing & PR teams in developing tailored content, campaigns, and materials for the luxury market.
• Work in alignment with DTD geographical market managers to ensure coordination of markets where luxury is an identified target segment.
Networking and Industry Engagement
• Attend and represent our client at global luxury industry events, networking forums, and investor meetings.
• Maintain active engagement with luxury travel influencers, brand ambassadors, and elite industry players.
• Foster relationships with UHNW clientele, corporate associations, and exclusive luxury networks to enhance our client’s positioning.

• Support designing and implement a strategic plan for an emirate’s luxury tourism sector in alignment with the destination’s overall tourism vision.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring luxury segment growth, market share, and revenue performance.
• Develop initiatives to enhance the quality, exclusivity, and appeal of luxury tourism products and services.
• Assess market trends and provide recommendations for enhancing the luxury travel experience in an emirate.
Stakeholder & Partnership Development
• Build and strengthen relationships with international representation offices, luxury tour operators, DMCs, and high-end travel agencies.
• Work closely with an emirate’s luxury hotels, resorts, and premium experiences providers to ensure aligned product development and packaging.
• Act as the primary liaison between our client and the high-end travel sector, ensuring alignment in branding and sales initiatives.
Market Analysis & Performance Optimization
• Monitor global and regional luxury tourism and hospitality trends to maintain an emirate’s competitive edge.
• Collaborate with strategy department to conduct data-driven analysis on luxury segment performance, including occupancy rates, market share, consumer preferences, and ADR trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations on pricing strategies and premium service enhancements.
• Implement initiatives to increase ADR within the luxury segment through market positioning, value-added experiences, and strategic pricing.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Communications, Tourism Management, Hospitality or a related field.
Professional Qualifications
A Master’s degree or luxury tourism certification is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years in Luxury segment sector in planning and execution of large-scale sales, exhibitions and roadshows in luxury tourism or high-end destination development.
Prior experience in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, including DMCs, event organizers, government bodies, and vendors, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of events.
Experience in planning and executing luxury sales, exhibitions, and roadshows.
Strong background in liaising with DMCs, luxury brands, corporate clients, and high-value stakeholders.
Experience in budgeting for Luxury segment events, ensuring profitability, and achieving a higher average daily rate (ADR).
Experience in devising and implementing Luxury segment strategies, and problem-solving ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the organization.
Other Requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills in English is required. Arabic and additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, Microsoft Suite, CRM and data analytics software.
