Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - IT Hardware to oversee the IT hardware infrastructure and operations for our client's consumer electronics point in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT hardware, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and support. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the IT hardware infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
• Develop and implement IT hardware procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of hardware components and devices.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Lead the IT hardware support team, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure timely resolution of hardware-related issues and incidents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and vendors, to assess hardware requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain IT hardware inventory and asset management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT hardware, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the consumer electronics point's operations and objectives.
• Develop and implement IT hardware maintenance and replacement plans, ensuring the timely replacement and upgrade of hardware components to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Ensure compliance with IT hardware standards, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT hardware management roles, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong technical expertise in IT hardware systems and components, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
• Proven experience in IT hardware procurement, installation, maintenance, and support.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions to IT hardware challenges.
