Job Summary:

Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing & Live Events, MENA

About the role & team :

Responsible for leading the integrated GTM plans for The Walt Disney Company’s franchises (including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Princess, Mickey & Friends, etc.) and how they are represented to customers across Disney businesses and the MENA markets.

Lead franchise marketing campaigns that are cross-line-of-business (xLOB) and focus on core franchises and key moments throughout the year, driving brand reach and awareness.

As a key member of the MENA marketing team, collaborate across TWDC with all LOBs to identify and optimize xLOB opportunities, working closely with the Brand and Franchise Marketing EMEA team based in London.

Act as the Disney Brand champion, overseeing local approvals and understanding sensitivities related to TWDC brand activities and third-party events.

Lead MENA CSR initiatives and the staff VoluntEARS program.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead xLOB initiatives and coordinate across teams to support and optimize the core Brands and Franchises in MENA markets.
  • Manage EMEA Corporate Brand approval procedures, ensuring local sensitivities are considered while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Deeply understand Disney brands and content to develop innovative project and partnership ideas.
  • Coordinate with Disney’s Live Events teams (EMEA, Local, US) and partners to ensure event approval, regional optimization, and activation opportunities are maximized.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Brand & Franchise Marketing team to create and execute local marketing campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with local LOBs for Brand and Franchise Marketing, including annual research and calendar synchronization.
  • Allocate and oversee marketing budgets to maximize impact.
  • Ensure brand strategies and timings are reflected accurately in all MENA campaigns.
  • Oversee internal and external approval processes, ensuring compliance with TWDC brand guidelines.
  • Lead MENA CSR initiatives, including VoluntEARS, coordinating team efforts, planning, and budget allocation, working with partners like Make-A-Wish.
Experience & Skills:
  • At least 10+ years of experience in marketing, with significant management of world-class brands, preferably in media & entertainment.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of MENA culture and sensitivities; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Leadership skills, team orientation, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • Creative, strategic, motivated, energetic, and confident.
  • Proactive decision-making and initiative-taking skills.
  • Experience in cross-cultural settings preferred.
  • Passion for brands and their positive impact on markets.
