Job Summary :

Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing & Live Events, MENA

About the role & team :

Responsible for leading the integrated GTM plans for The Walt Disney Company’s Franchises (including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Princess, Mickey & Friends, etc.) and how they are represented to customers across Disney businesses and MENA markets.

Lead franchise marketing campaigns that are cross line-of-business (xLOB), focusing on core franchises and key moments throughout the year to drive brand reach and awareness.

As a key member of the MENA marketing team, collaborate across TWDC with all lines of business in a cross-functional capacity to identify and optimize xLOB opportunities, working closely with the Brand and Franchise Marketing EMEA team based in London.

Act as the Disney Brand champion, ensuring local approvals and understanding sensitivities related to TWDC brand activities and third-party led events.

Lead MENA CSR initiatives and the staff VoluntEARS program.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead xLOB initiatives and coordinate across teams to support and optimize core Brands and Franchises in all touchpoints within MENA markets.
  • Manage EMEA Corporate Brand approval procedures for all activities, paying attention to local sensitivities while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Deeply understand Disney brands and content to generate innovative project and partnership ideas.
  • Coordinate with Live Events teams across Disney (EMEA, Local, US) and external agents / promoters to ensure events like Disney On Ice and Disney Jr Live On Tour are regionally optimized and all xLOB activations are planned and executed.
  • Work with the EMEA regional Brand & Franchise Marketing team to create and lead local marketing campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with local Lines of Business for Brand and Franchise Marketing, including annual research and calendar alignment.
  • Allocate and activate marketing budgets to maximize impact.
  • Ensure campaign strategies and timings reflect the brand’s long-term vision.
  • Oversee internal and external approval processes to ensure compliance with TWDC brand guidelines.
  • Lead CSR initiatives, including VoluntEARS, coordinating the team and managing budgets with partners like Make-A-Wish.

Experience & Skills :

  • Minimum 10+ years in marketing, with experience managing world-class brands, preferably in media & entertainment.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Deep understanding of MENA culture; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Creative, strategic, motivated, and confident.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments and a passion for world-class brands.
  • People management skills and proficiency in English; Arabic is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and PC skills, especially in MS Office.
